  • Correct Size Slide-Topper for 70" Long Slide-Out
  • I checked with Lippert and the correct Solera RV Slide-Out Awning for a 70" slide-out is part # LCV000165063 for black and part # LCV000163279 for white. The next size up won't work as the extension rods would not reach the hex brackets. The awning fabric just needs to cover the slide-out per Lippets latest instructions for awning selection, a few inches over would be ideal.

  • What Would Cause My Trailer Wheels To Wear On Outside and Inside Of Tire
  • If the outside and the inside of your tires are wearing out but the middle is not indicates that your tires are not inflated to the correct psi rating. Make sure you have your tires inflated to the correct psi by checking the sidewall of the tire. If you look at The Westlake ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D # LHWL300 it has a ply rating of 65 psi. I have attached a help article link below.

  • Can Ark Drop Down Stabilizers be Used on Trailer With Corner Jacks
  • Yes, your trailer with corner jacks can still absolutely use the Ark stabilizers: - Ark Drop Down Corner RV Stabilizer Jack Kit - 24" Long Corner Steadies # ARK34FR These will weld to the bottom of your trailer's frame, you just need to make sure you have enough room that they won't interfere with the function of your jacks and they will do a very nice job of steadying your trailer when walking inside.

  • EZ Flex Equalizer Kit Recommendation for 2011 Coachman Chaparral
  • Since the distance between your current equalizer bolt holes is 8 inches the correct EZ Flex system you need is the part # K71-653-00 that you referenced. This also can work on axles that are up to 8k in capacity like you said you have so it would work well in that regard as well.

  • Recommended Cushioned Equalizers for a Coachmen Chaparral Lite Fifth Wheel
  • Yes, we do have cushioned equalizers for a Coachmen Chaparral Lite Fifth Wheel but you'll need to know the length of the existing to get the correct one. That said, all you need to do is measure the distance between the two bolt holes across, if it's 5-1/2" then I recommend the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers part # LC279687 or if it's 7-1/2" then I recommend the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers part # LC279688. The 5-1/2" spread is typically for smaller 3,500 lb axles and the larger 7-1/2"...

  • Could Zerk Fitting be Added to Trailer Spindle to Make it an EZ Lube Spindle
  • EZ lube spindles are more than just a zerk fitting attached to the end of the spindle. There would need to be a hole in the spindle between where the bearings ride for the grease would then fill the hub by. To be perfectly honest using EZ lube spindles or Bearing Buddies typically causes people to over fill their hubs and blow out the grease seal so you're better off packing the hubs by hand. I attached a link to a bearing packing video for you to check out as well.

  • How to Determine If Trailer Has Self-Adjusting or Manual-Adjust Brakes
  • The only way to tell if you have self-adjusting brakes or manual-adjust brakes is to look at the brake assembly you have. If you see the cable as demonstrated in the accompanying photo, you have self-adjusting like the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 5.2K to 7K # AKEBRK-7-SA. If that cable is not there you have a manual-adjust assembly like the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 5,200 lbs to 7,000 lbs...

  • Troubleshooting Everchill RV Fridge That Won't Get Cold
  • Sometimes when fridges won't reach temperature it's a power issue. If the battery of the RV isn't fully charged the fridge just won't have the power needed to get cold. Other thing you can try is unplugging it to see if the condenser is frozen up and once thawed will work again. If that's the case make sure the drain is not clogged and there is enough air flow.

  • How To Cut Power To the 12 Volt Everchill RV Refrigerator
  • The Everchill RV Refrigerator part # 324-000119 is powered by 12 VDC therefore the power would be run from the unit to the distribution panel most likely. In which case, the best way to kill power to this would be by simply pulling the fuse from the panel associated with this circuit. The panel should be labeled. If you cannot locate the panel you'll need to reach out to the RV manufacturer. If you remove the battery that should cut power to the refrigerator as well but the above method...

  • Replacing 15-Tooth Gear on Lippert Slide-Out Gear Pack
  • Replacing the 15-Tooth Gear # LC101941 on your existing slide-out gear pack isn't too difficult at all. Once you access the gear pack (make sure to safely support the slide-out room) it is just a matter of knocking out one of the pins that hold the gear and rollers into place. With the pin removed the rollers and gears will slide right off and you can replace the gear with the new unit.
